Mickey Parker  - TTouch Practitioner

For more years then I care to remember I have had a keen interest in all animals and their wellbeing. Some years ago I saw TTouch being demonstrated and discussed on a television program. Straight away I was fascinated by this technique and attended a workshop in Manchester. This workshop opened a whole new world to me and I knew I wanted to learn more so I enrolled in a two year Practitioner Training Program. Now fully qualified I really enjoy using my skills to help animals and their owners.

Happy Hedgehog Memories....

"I have a great love of hedgehogs, when I was about 8 or 9 years old we were on holidays in the west of Ireland . As our holiday came to a close I was increasingly concerned about my hedgehog buddies whom I'd befriended. What was going to happen when the corn stooks were baled and the hedgehogs would have no where to 'live'. I devised a plan to save the day in true famous five style. At that time during the war years the journey back to Dublin from Mayo was made by train . I brought a mother hedgehog and her three babies back in a cardboard box which my parents were not aware of. I also had a bottle of milk in my pocket just in case!  The train got a 'hot box' a long forgotten term in modern life. Coal was not good in those days and often the train burned other fuel. The train had to stop the let the hot box cool down .......my hedgehogs were hungry I asked my father to lift my box down and I produced the bottle of milk. My mother was shocked and could not believe I would do such a thing, but my dad was used to me producing all sorts of animals, this was the start of my great love of animals ! "
